Food, ambiance, staff, everything in this place made our first night in Sorrento a must. Michele: the gang of Canada already misses you!

Such a wonderful restaurant! We had dined at Vela Bianca several times the last time we were in Sorrento a few years ago so naturally we returned on our recent visit. We were delighted that it was still as delicious. Michael and his team do a great job at making everyone feel welcome. The service and food are both exceptional. The ravioli caprese and the sea bass are exceptional. And don&#39;t miss the lemon delight for dessert.

Food was amazing there. We ate way more than we expected, and took away a pizza. Service there was also good. We took their shuttle bus back to the downtown

Very intimate setting nestled next to a hotel. Staff was friendly and attentive and the food was flavorful and fresh. They offered free transportation from our hotel to and from the restaurant which was so convenient. We started with the Buffalo mozzarella that was served with fresh tomato and arugula. Fresh focaccia was also served on the house and paired perfectly. We had the fresh pasta and tuna and the beef fillet with polenta which were both excellent, Save room for dessert as the lemon Sorrento special was a fitting end for an amazing meal.

Best dining experience we&#39;ve had in Italy -- wonderful food, great service, and Michael is the warmest, most accommodating maitre d&#39; -- he treated us like family the entire evening.
